Brad Pearsall writes songs about being alive.

In 2002, he was named Jim Beam Bourbon’s Emerging Artist and recorded an album with the winnings. Soon after, he stepped away from music to focus on raising his family. The songs waited.

Twenty-two years later, a moment on the radio—someone mentioning it was their ex’s birthday—sparked “My Mind Rewinds,” written in a parked car. It opened the door to a new collection of songs shaped by time and experience.

These are songs about love and loss, searching for peace in a loud world, trying to save a friend from the dark, and facing pain you can’t fix. Honest, emotional, and grounded, the music carries the feeling as much as the lyrics.
